I Have Faith In A God

I have faith in a God that created the Heavens and the Earth. A God, that out of the abundance of His love, created us, man, in His image, so we could love Him and He could love us.

I have faith in a God that protected the Hebrew people, His chosen people, from the Egyptians and the Canaanites.

I have faith in a God that protected His people even when they were wicked.

I have faith in a God that loved His people even when they rejected him!

I have faith in a God, that when people deserved worse than death, He loved His people so much that, just like Abraham, scarified His son to die on the cross for us. For US! The wicked creation that He called "very good". Because He Loves us.

I have faith in a God that defeated death through His son so that we may be born again through His love; His love that would be displayed by the sacrifice of Jesus's death.

I have faith in a God that loved mankind enough to send His Holy Spirit on us and have the Holy Spirit guide us in a righteous path illuminated by the light of Jesus's resurrection.

I have faith in a God that brought fire down to the earth and anointed the apostles who spread the Word to the world about the sacrifice of Jesus, the Good News that, indeed, ANYONE, Jew or Gentile, could be saved.

I have faith in a God that will come back on Judgment Day and say "Well done, my good and faithful servant," and come and join Him in paradise for eternity!

THAT is the God I have faith in.

And I do with all my heart. Because I know it to be true. I have seen the power of Jesus's name work miracles. I have seen the power of God work in the lives of those around me and mine. I have tasted and seen that the Lord is, as he said in Genesis, very good.
